During the Fall, The color guard is part of the on-field performance during the marching season. The guard interprets the music being played through the spinning of flags, weapons, and dance. The guard uses different colors and styles of flags the enhance the visual effects or theme of the show.

During the Spring, Guard members are given the opportunity to perform as a part of a team known as Winter Guard. Rather than performing to accent a band, the guard performs stunning visual shows to music picked specifically for their show. These performances are not only judged based on talent and precision, but also on show creativity.
